Welcome – I’m really glad you’re here. Those first steps to seek support takes courage and strength, and I’m honored your path brought you to me. My name is Angela, and I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering compassionate care for children (beginning at age 6), adolescents, adults and families both in person in Paoli, Pa and via telehealth. Navigating the mental healthcare system can feel overwhelming, my goal is to simplify the process for you, meet you where you are, and provide you with accessible, evidence-based care to help you live your best life.
I help children build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence in a supportive and developmentally appropriate way. Sessions may include play-based and skills-focused strategies to address challenges such as anxiety, behavior concerns, and emotional regulation.
I work with teens to navigate the challenges of growing up, including stress, anxiety, mood changes, identity, and peer or school-related pressures. I provide a supportive space while also teaching practical tools to build resilience, confidence, and healthy coping.
I support young adults through life transitions, relationships, career or academic stress, and mental health concerns. Together, we focus on gaining clarity, strengthening coping skills, and fostering independence and self-understanding.
I work with families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges together. This may include supporting parenting strategies, resolving conflict, and creating a more connected and supportive home environment.
My mission is to understand what truly matters to you, to support your well-being, and to empower you to live a life that is fulfilling and aligned with your goals. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I’m here to get to the root of what you are experiencing and help you find meaningful, lasting solutions. My approach is focused on building a strong therapeutic relationship that supports your healing and growth. I will always ensure you feel seen, heard, and supported – not only during our time together, but long after. My greatest goal as your clinician is to empower you along your unique path toward living your best life.
The first appointment is a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and is typically scheduled for 90 minutes in person. After the evaluation we will discuss diagnoses and we will begin to come up with a plan together for your care - each treatment plan is individualized and collaborative, tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Medication management can be a helpful tool in managing mental health symptoms and involves a thoughtful and collaborative decision making process that we would discuss together based on the evaluation of symptoms and their impact, selecting appropriate medications when indicated, and regularly reviewing effectiveness and side effects. My goal is to optimize treatment while minimizing unnecessary medications or side effects and supporting your overall well-being.
As part of a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, I may recommend lab work or pharmacogenetic testing to better understand your overall health and how your body may respond to certain medications. This helps guide safe, personalized, and effective treatment decisions.
I love therapy and think the world would be a better place if we all learned to connect and communicate and understand one another. I use an integrative approach to therapy that combines elements of CBT, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused techniques, and family systems work. This allows me to support both immediate symptom relief and deeper, long-term growth, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care and individualized treatment. I am also a certified CBITs provider for tic disorder/tourette's.
I’d love to connect and learn more about how I can support you. Please feel free to reach out for a consultation — I’m here to help.
